How we look after you
Everything you need to know about ordering, delivery, fit and keeping your pieces at their best.
Ordering and payment
Every style is cut in a small run, so each order is checked by hand before anything is charged. When you place an order, it reaches our studio straight away as an order request.
Within one working day we email you to confirm sizing and availability, together with a secure link to pay. Your pieces are reserved for 48 hours while you complete payment, and they ship as soon as it is received.
Nothing is charged when you place your request, so you are free to ask a fit question or change your mind before paying.

Size guide
Our pieces are cut with room to move. Each product page tells you how a style fits and what size the model is wearing. Between sizes? We suggest your usual size for coats and knitwear and the smaller size for silk.

To measure, keep the tape level and snug but not tight: around the fullest part of your bust, the narrowest part of your waist and the fullest part of your hips.
Garment care
Natural fibres last longest when they are washed less and aired more. Every piece comes with its own care label; these are the basics.
- Wool and cashmere
- Air between wears and brush with a soft clothes brush. Hand wash knits cold with a wool detergent, press out the water in a towel and dry flat. Store folded, never on a hanger, with cedar to keep moths away.
- Silk
- Hand wash cold with a gentle silk detergent or dry clean. Never wring. Roll in a towel to remove water and steam on a low setting rather than ironing.
- Velvet
- Dry clean only. Hang on a padded hanger with space around it, and steam from the reverse side. Never iron the pile directly.
- Leather
- Condition twice a year with a neutral leather balm. If it gets wet, let it dry slowly at room temperature, away from radiators and direct sun.
Repairs for life
If a seam opens, a button goes missing or a hem drops, send your piece back to the atelier and we will mend it at no cost, for as long as you own it. We also darn small holes in knitwear and replace linings.
Write to us first so we can send a prepaid label within the United States. Most repairs are back with you within three weeks.
